Shri GP Sharma, Director (Finance), ICAR visited the ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research Jabalpur during 2-3 July, 2022. He apprised about the various reforms being initiated by the ICAR in recent past, and reviewed the progress of the Directorate related to budget, SFC, procurement, audit paras, etc. Shri Sharma also discussed the various issues related to finance, administration, procurement through GEM, rate contracts, consultancy projects etc., and clarified the doubts in a very simple way.

He also visited the farm and old guest house and other facilities of the Directorate. Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr.JS Mishra, Director, ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research Jabalpur apprised the Director (Finance) about the Directorate’s functioning, staff position and achievements. The Scientists and Senior Officials of the Directorate were also present on the occasion.
