In pursuance of Council’s e-mail dated 08.08.2017 received from Dr. S.P. Kimothi, Assistant Director General (Coordination) regarding the “Sidhi to Sankalp” Pledge to be taken on 09.08.2017 at 11.30 A.M as per directions of the Hon’ble Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister to commemorate the spirit of completion of 75 years of the launch of Quit India Movement. Accordingly, all the officers / employees / staff of ICAR- Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur have taken the “Sankalp Se Siddhi – New India Pledge” in the Conference Hall of this Directorate on 09.08.2017 at 11.30 A.M.

Dr. P.K. Singh, Director (Acting), had administered the pledge to all the officers / employees / staff of this Directorate to be followed in letter and spirit. All the employees (regular & contractual) took the pledge and committed to strive wholeheartedly to accomplish the pledge for a New India. An individual pledge was also taken by the staff which is as follows

व्यक्तिगत/सस्थागत संकल्प - हम सब मिलकर संकल्प लेते हैं कि खरपतवार अनुसंधान निदेशालय परिसर को स्वच्छ रखते हुए, भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त रखेंगे तथा अपने दायित्वों का पारदर्शी तरीके से निर्वहन करते हुए निदेशालय को एक नई ऊॅचाई पर ले जायेगे ।
