The ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was launched on 15.09.2018 at ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur. Dr. P.K. Singh, Director inaugurated ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign on 15.09.2018 at ICAR-DWR, Jabalpur. In his inaugural address, he appraised the purpose & detail of the said campaign.

Director at length and briefed about the swachhata, adoption of eco-friendly practices, sanitation practices like using a toilet, handwashing, importance of cleanliness in our office/campuses and our society. He also informed the proposed schedule of various events that would be taken up / conducted during the “Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign. The Swachhata Shapath (Oath) was taken by all the staff/participants and committed to make self, community, society, villages, cities clean.

After the oath, on 15.09.2018 at ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur. Dr. P.K. Singh, Director, lead the cleaning/sweeping and weeding work from 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM in office premises/campus alongwith all the employees (regular, contractual etc.) of the ICAR-DWR, Jabalpur.
