As per direction of the Council, Constitution Day was celebrated on 26 November, 2019 at ICAR – Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to honour & acknowledge the contribution of the Founding Fathers of the Constitution. The ‘Preamble’ to the Constitution was read out by all the officials of the Directorate in the chairmanship of Dr. R. P. Dubey, I/c. Director

Dr. Dubey briefed about Constitution Day and importance of the Constitution for its citizen including fundamental rights & duties. Standees were displayed at the prominent places in the premises of the Directorate. Flyers were distributed among the employees of the Directorate, farmers, nearby community to create awareness on Citizen’s Duties etc.
