The Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur and the Zonal Project Directorate, Zone VII, Jabalpur jointly organized a Training-cum-Workshop on Weed Management during 19-20 May, 2015 for the scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The inaugural programme was chaired by Dr. A.R. Sharma, Director, DWSR. In his introductory remarks Dr. Sharma gave an overview of the Directorate’s activities for strengthening weed management through on farm research and organizing training/awareness programmes. The entire programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. P.K. Singh Principal Scientist, DWR and Dr. A. P. Dwivedi, Sr. Scientist, ZPD, Zone-VII, Jabalpur.
